Of the 36 endangered species of plants and animals in the Golden Gate National Parks (GGNP), in close proximity of our vibrant urban metropolis, you can see 14 right here in the city! See and learn about them all by participating in the 2010 GGNP Endangered Species Big Year! Learn about this year's activities & prizes, and fuel up on complimentary drinks & snacks before a short hike in search for the Western Snowy Plover at the Crissy Field Wildlife Protection Area.

We need you! Planting and tending native plant educational areas at San Francisco's coolest and entirely volunteer-run urban farm. Stay until 5:00 to take home some of the daily harvest.
