Alemany Farm has been called one of San Francisco's top 5 butterfly hotspots, by San Francisco Lepidopterist Liam O'Brien, who says, "I recorded half the butterfly fauna known from the county within two hours; many things come together to draw butterflies to certain places: topography, host plants, nectar and water sources -- Alemany Farm seems to have them all." Join Liam on Saturday to discover the butterflies at Alemany!

Final EIR for Harding Park Recycled Water Project
The Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the Harding Park Recycled Water Project is available for public viewing.
The proposed Project is part of SFPUC's Water System Improvement Program (WSIP) and would contribute to its goals of diversifying regional water supplies through the development of recycled water as an alternative water supply for non-potable uses. You can download the Final EIR here.

Project FeederWatch
Share information about which birds visit your feeders between November and April, and help scientists track changes in bird numbers and movements from year to year, through Project FeederWatch, a citizen-science program from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Bird Studies Canada.
Project FeederWatch begins on November 14 and runs through early April. Taking part is easy. Anyone can count the numbers and kinds of birds at their feeders and enter their information on the FeederWatch website!
