Join Sutro Stewards for "Healing the Mountain, Healing the Self" – An Earth Day Fundraiser!
Celebrate Earth Day with our partner Sutro Stewards by immersing yourself in the beauty of Mount Sutro in a fundraiser event that brings together community, creativity, and conservation: “Healing the Mountain, Healing the Self.” Take part in native seed gathering, wildflower bouquet-making, screenprinting with native leaves (bring a t-shirt!), cyanotype art, birding walks, and mountain-inspired tea sessions.
This event is sliding scale, and 100% of proceeds will directly benefit the Health in Nature Program, a Sutro Stewards initiative that increases access to the outdoors for underserved communities in San Francisco, including youth, caregivers, and individuals with mental health divergence. Through partnerships with UCSF and other local organizations including Friends of the Children, Independence High School, Edgewood Kinship Caregivers, and UCSF GROWTH, this program creates opportunities for healing, joy, and connection through nature-based experiences.
