Lend your skills to Nature in the City!

Nature in the City connects everyone in San Francisco to nature by cultivating and conserving local habitats. Nature in the City has been a beacon of urban conservation in San Francisco since 2005.

Projects helmed by Nature in the City preserve grasslands, advocate for responsible habitat restoration, and help provide environmental equity. By organizing habitat stewardship projects and educational opportunities, we seek to empower local communities with tools to participate in stewardship, citizen science, and lifelong learning.
