Nature Walk: Biodiversity Over Time & Space - Plant Wonders at the SF Botanical Garden

  • San Francisco Botanical Garden 9th Ave and Lincoln (map)

Join us at our beloved SF Botanical Garden as we explore how plants have evolved to thrive in diverse habitats around the world.

The SF Botanical Garden is over 75 years old but it continues to change and evolve, just as its resident plants do. We’ll explore the much-loved Magnolias as well as newly-planted collections and hidden gems of the garden, focusing on the wonders of biodiversity and evolution.

Walk Leader: Helen Doyle

Helen Doyle, nature lover and educator, serves on Nature in the City’s advisory council and on the steering committee for Reimagining San Francisco. She’s been giving tours at the SF Botanical Garden for over 15 years and continues to be amazed by the wonders of plants.
