Bird walk for Black joy in nature! Welcoming all experience levels, led by and for Black birders, with allies invited to join.

This event welcomes beginner and seasoned birders alike to learn about birding and also create a community of local birders.

Join us from 8-9am at the India Basin Waterfront Park - 900 Innes - for coffee, snacks, mingling, and learning more about local birding.

A walk along the shoreline to Heron’s Head Park will depart at 9am and last approx. 1 hour. If we get enough participants we will offer a second walk starting at 10:30.
